PORK AND PRAWN FRIED RICE
■ Preparation time: 15 mins ■ Cooking time: 15 mins ■ Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
1 Tbsp sunflower oil
300g lean pork, sliced
1 red capsicum, diced
1% cups (415ml) hot water
180g Continental Oriental Rice
Value Pack
200g cooked prawns,
peeled
110g snow peas, halved
2 spring onions, sliced
1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
METHOD
1. Heat oil in a frying pan or wok
over a medium heat. Add pork and
capsicum, and cook until pork is
brown. Add water and Oriental Rice.
2. Bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce
heat and simmer, covered, for 10
minutes. Add prawns and snow peas
for the last few minutes. Stir well,
replace lid and stand for 2 minutes.
3. Serve topped with spring onion
and toasted sesame seeds.
